MEMBERSHIP

Your support is hugely important to us in shaping the next generation of Seafarers and provides you with the opportunity to meet like-minded people interested in supporting maritime youth.

We have provided support to professional seafarers and young people as Sea Cadets for 250 years.

The charity encourages self development, leadership and an understanding of working with others in a maritime environment. We offer educational opportunities and financial support for professional seafarers, together with the supply of Ships’ Library Service which enhances the well-being of those who go to sea and helps overcome the challenges faced by seafarers on account of their lifestyle.

There are three schemes to keep you in touch with our work; Membership and Membership Plus which are run on an Annual basis and Life Membership.  Payment can be made by cheque or credit card although it is greatly appreciated if a Standing Order is established to reduce overall administration costs, thus making your donation go so much further.


 

Membership £25

Receive an invitation to the Annual Court held at HMS President, London, and two copies of Seafarer magazine. 

Membership Plus £40

Recieve Associate Membership of the prestigious Naval Club, invitations to Sea Cadets Offshore vessels when alongside, as well as opportunities for you and a guest to attend other Sea Cadet events hosted by the Captain of the Sea Cadet Corps. You will always receive priority notification of other opportunities that arise such as tickets to the Mountbatten Festival of Music or ship visits.

Life Member; one off payment £650

Receive benefits of  Membership Plus together with a complimentry Will writing service from solicitors Foresters or Farrers’ of London. Plus the unique option of opting for your ashes to be consigned to the sea from one of our Offshore vessels.
